Intractable Conflict
A Result of Incremental Subversion
The ongoing destructive and subversive conflicts that are unfolding right before us, are the most serious threat to our common future in America today. The real threats ruin personal lives, are the breaking down of Christian values, increasing national division, preventing us from solving common problems, and underscoring dystopian trends toward authoritarianism, chaos, and large-scale violence which is inevitable in such conditions. Foreign threats are the least of our problems.
Given, the War in Iran will certainly have consequences for the American people. Already we have seen both stocks falling and fuel prices rising in speculation, as well as suggestive rhetoric from Imams in the US and an attack in Texas by a man wearing a shirt that said, “Owned by Allah.” The question for the reader is; Are you prepared to deal with conflict? This is just is just another phase in political subversion as we know every crisis is used to empower the Administrative state (Deep State) even more. I fully expect to see that development.
As you may note from the reading below, Incremental Subversion leads to Radical change. We are on the precipice of Radical changes.
Subversive conflict can be multifaceted and complex to those who do not understand subversion and its incremental dynamic nature. Successfully countering the many challenges posed by subversion will require a large-scale effort that mobilizes a full range of human ingenuity, moral courage and involves everyone, not just politicians and leaders. In most cases in Democratic nations, subversion is more internal than external, but can certainly be supported by existential forces. If not interrupted, radicalization becomes highly likely and is rarely turned around toward restoration.
We all have a role in countering such contrived conflicts within our nation. As such we must first learn to identify and understand subversion, secondly learn to stop supporting systems, people and political dynamics that only exasperate the problems and thirdly develop an objective based counter-effort. Much of this relies upon a fundamental restoration of our Constitutional Republic system which can only be re-invoked by “we the people.”Taking responsibility and enforcing accountability are two actions that must be accepted and acted upon.
At this point in time we are dealing with the subversive development of “Intractable Conflicts” within the nation. However, this dynamic is growing around the globe. We must also note, that it is America who sets the trends of activity in our world today. Thus, what we do as a people can have profound affects. Lets define Intractable Conflicts:
Intractable Conflicts are conflicts that never seem to get solved, increase in intensity and in volume. The very nature of this condition indicates that it is indeed a contrived condition of a complex environment of polarization and unrest. This underscores the Counter Insurgency Doctrinal statement, “Crisis Creates Change.” The continuation, intensity and volume of conflict is then an orchestrated condition for the purpose of Dynamic social/political change. The American people’s failure to understand the nature of subversion clearly indicated by these intractable conflicts may cost us our nation as we knew it. This can only lead to a radical change of our national condition.
The Complexity:
People tend to vastly over-simplify the subversion of intractable conflicts, particularly if they are caught up in the conflict themselves. There is a strong tendency to view such conflicts in simple terms: “us versus them”, “good guys versus bad guys,” “left versus right,” or just “good versus evil.” With that view, the obvious way to go about dealing with the conflict is by attempting to decisively defeat the “bad guys” and dis-empowering them to the point where they will no longer be able to effectively employ their “evil” positions. However, this seldom works. The other side is virtually certain to fight back with all of the powers at its disposal leading to a continuing series of escalating and ever-more destructive confrontations which the subversion is precisely designed to do. This is especially true concerning America as the Subversives within have major Information Dominance control. This could be considered a Center of Gravity (COG).
COG is simply, what gives the opposition the capacity to threaten or carry out operations against you. This can also be a weakness on your part and a strength on their part.
In addition, simple minded framing almost always leads to gross oversimplification of a very serious set of problems. The enemy is counting on the normalized biases that have developed from differing understandings of “facts,” different values, different attitudes, different cultures, different economic concerns, different educational levels and different religions, that give people different understandings about what the problem is based after years of media and party propaganda as to what should be done about the conflicts. The delinquency here is that most people cannot lump all these conflicts together into a big picture, seeing the orchestrated nature of the subversion. All of these issues come into play as people try to address these conflicts, and then the interactions between the people, between the issues, and between the conflict dynamics cause these conflicts to spiral out of control quickly. The entire gamut of issues are designed for confusion and to guide the weak mind and ignorant individual back to the very sources of their problem, their own lack of responsibility and their government who has left their Constitutional moorings long ago.
Defining the Problem: Americans Don’t Understand Subversion
In a 1983 lecture, Yuri Bezmenov a former KGB agent explained how the Soviet Union had a very long-term four-step program for destroying America from the inside out. I assert that this subversive plan has, to a large degree, succeeded without Americans even noticing, which is a key component of the plan itself because it minimizes push-back and is the very nature of incremental subversion. However, this does not mean the the Russian government is directly linked to what is unfolding presently. They are not, for subversion eventually finds its own path and like a disease takes over its own host.
Bezmenov’s basic concept:
Subversion refers to a process by which the values and principles of an established system are contradicted or reversed in an attempt to sabotage the existing social order and its structures of power, authority, tradition, hierarchy, and social norms. It involves a systematic attempt to overthrow or undermine a government or political system, often carried out by persons working secretly from within. Subversion is used as a tool to achieve political goals because it generally carries less risk, cost, and difficulty as opposed to open more radical belligerency. The act of subversion can lead to the destruction or damage of an established system or government over unspecified periods of time. In the context of ideological subversion, subversion aims to gradually change the perception and values of a society incrementally, ultimately leading to the undermining of its existing systems and beliefs due to altered perceptions. America is now at the threshold of radical change due to decades of incremental subversion.
There are 4 basic elements or attacks:
1. Demoralization: This phase involves the long-term process of demoralizing the target nation. Tactics include the infiltration of, and influence on, the target nation’s educational system, media, politics, and culture. The aim: to alter the population’s perceptions of reality, creating a generation of citizens who are unable to recognize or resist the subverters ideology or objectives. The idea is to create a new norm where the moral dispositions that previously undergirded the nation are removed within the hearts and minds of the people leaving them susceptible to great deceptions and further moral erosion creating great division ready for a more stringent government authority. “An unruly people will have harsh task masters.”
2.Destabilization: In this stage, the focus shifts to creating instability. This can be done through the manipulation of the target nation’s economy, politics, and society after demoralization has taken root. Strategies include sowing discord, social unrest and polarization, usually by exploiting existing divisions. This phase might involve supporting radical groups, spreading disinformation, and undermining trust in the existing systems and institutions. In some cases the mistrust is warranted as the government has already succumbed to subversion.
3.Crisis: This stage is characterized by a significant upheaval or crisis that leads to a state of emergency or a situation that destabilizes society to a critical point. The crisis could take various forms, including economic collapses, riots, or significant political upheavals, leading to a high uncertainty and fear among the population. We often see militarization of police forces during this time which may be in our case, “unconstitutional,” but fear drives toleration of such actions.
In the USMC Counter Insurgency training we learned first day; “Crisis Creates Change.” In other words, FEAR drives the subversion. This stage can run on for years if necessary to obtain the objectives and/or goals.
4. Normalization: After the crisis, the stage of normalization begins, where the subverter seeks to establish a new status quo. This often involves the implementation of policies and measures that solidify the subversive’s control or influence over society, supposedly to restore order. The subversive’s power and the oppressive new conditions become “normal.” If you reach this point, you have lost.
The highest form of war is to weaken a society from within, making it vulnerable to influence or control without a direct military confrontation. Bezmenov emphasized that success depends on the subversive’s ability to keep the society in the dark about the manipulation process until it’s too late. I would assert that America is drawing very close to this condition.
The vast majority of Americans have fell prey to a left vrs right paradigm that completely averts Constitutional conformity or rather lawful operation. By perception changes over years of manipulated dispositions and actions, precedents have been set and normalized in the hearts and minds of the American people with the help of the media’s Information Dominance. It was Adolf Hitler who stated, “If you tell the people something often enough and long enough, they will believe it.” The same disposition works with practices that are performed over and over even when they are technically unconstitutional. Precedent takes affect and the letter of the law is forgotten.
In conclusion, we must understand that the subversion has already taken place and is nearly complete. As Bezmenov has clearly stated and as those of us who have studied the history of nations emphatically know, the condition we are facing will only be solved by the American people and the choices they make to intervene and thrust into the fray of Intractable Conflicts, intelligently, objectively and with resolve. We do not need to be alarmed for there is a methodology that was planned many years ago by loyal American servants. By God’s grace and mercy we can overcome the condition that darkens our days, if we are willing to step off and advance. “We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind.” Let us trust in that and march.

Schooled to be forthright and honest but unschooled in subversion, one can naïvely assume the same of the wrong people. You remind me that Christ instructs us to be "wise as serpents and innocent as doves." After all, "even Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” Thank God, 1 John 4 teaches us how to “test the spirits.”
Ironically, the weapon Nazis used for evil is an effective weapon against evil: “If you tell the people something often enough and long enough, they will believe it.” May we faithfully keep telling people the truth. In God’s time, it will prevail.
